Terms, in plain English

These terms cover website and care plan work from Straight Sites (ABN TBD), based in Perth, Western Australia. “I” and “me” means Straight Sites. “You” means the business buying from me.

Samples

A sample homepage is an example only. It is not your finished site and it isn't something you've bought. Sample businesses, numbers, prices and images are for demonstration.

The website

You choose one of three packages. Each is one payment after our call. You approve the final site in writing before it goes live.

Base, A$997 in total. It includes:

• Up to 5 pages: Home, Services, Our Work, About, Contact
• Works on phones, with a tap-to-call button and a quote form that sends enquiries to your phone by text
• All the wording written for you
• Your photos added
• A web address (.com.au) registered in your business name, first year included
• Your Google listing set up or updated, with simple steps for you
• Basic Google setup so the site can be found
• Built within 7 days of receiving your details
• 3 rounds of changes before it goes live
• You own the website once it is paid for

Full, A$1,497 in total. A business website of any size, with no per-page charges, 3 rounds of changes before it goes live, and everything else in Base. I confirm the build time on our call.

Premium, A$2,497 in total. The entire Full build, plus unlimited changes until launch and SEO optimisation as part of the build. Unlimited changes end at launch. SEO optimisation is not an ongoing service.

Not included in any package: logo, photo shoots, online shops, booking systems, ads and promised rankings.

What I need from you

Your ABN, your logo if you have one, a few job photos and any corrections. You're responsible for making sure you're allowed to use what you send me, and that the details about your business are correct. I start the 7 days when I've received your details.

Care plan

The care plan is optional on every package. If you choose it, it is A$99 a month, starting at go-live. It includes hosting, security and backups, web address renewal, 1 small change a month done within 2 business days, and a monthly check that your quote form works.

You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. You get your site files, hosting stops, and your web address and its renewal are yours to manage. The site goes offline until someone else hosts it.

If you don't choose care, hosting isn't included. You get your site files, and your web address and its renewal are yours to manage.

Who owns what

You own the website once it is paid for. The web address is always in your name. I don't touch your email and I never ask for your passwords.

Your consumer rights

Australian Consumer Law rights apply, and nothing in these terms takes them away.

No promised results

A website helps customers find and trust you. Nobody can honestly guarantee jobs, leads or rankings, and I don't. That includes SEO optimisation.

GST

I'll confirm whether prices include GST before you get an invoice.
